Finnish Nationals will be held this weekend

Next Saturday and Sunday, March 3rd and 4th, the best 27 Finnish synchronized skating teams will assemble in Helsinki Ice Rink to the winners of the season.  The skaters will compete in three categories: novices, juniors, and seniors.


The French Les Zazous talk about the future after their 3rd place at Nationals

The French national championship for juniors was held last weekend in Paris. Just like the seniors (which took place in December), the competition is a true ice skating event because it gathers ice dance, figure skating (singles and pairs) and synchronized skating. 

NEXXICE and Les Suprêmes to represent Canada at the WSSC 2018

On February 24, 2018, NEXXICE Senior captured their 11th Canadian title, securing their ticket with Les Suprêmes to the 2018 World Synchronized Skating Championships. 

Four teams take gold at the Swedish Nationals

The 2018 Swedish National Championships took place this past weekend in Mölndal, Gothenburg and four synchro teams came away with gold medals.


Nationals start in the USA and in Canada!

Two important national synchronized skating championships take place this weekend. Portland (USA) and Oshawa (CAN) are set to welcome the best synchronized skating teams. 

More synchro teams took part in the 2018 Lumière Cup

The second edition of the Lumière Cup has been organized last weekend in Eindhoven, a city in the Netherlands in a great atmosphere. More than 30 teams took part in this event. It’s 10 more than for the first edition last year. 

 

Spring Cup: gold flies to Russia and Sweden!

After the short programs on Saturday, the junior and senior teams presented their free program on Sunday. By the Juniors, Idel of Russia maintained their first place and the top 3 has not changed. In the senior category, Team Surprise won the gold title.

The 2018 Spring Cup takes place this weekend in Sesto San Giovanni, Italy. On Saturday, the junior and senior teams presented their short program. Novice teams competed with the free program. 


Synchro made the hearts beat in Dumfries during the 2018 Trophy d'Ecosse

Sunday was the culmination of the Trophy d'Ecosse in the Ice Bowl, Dumfries. The three day competition saw some breath-taking performances from teams across the world and some great displays of solidarity, with teams coming together after the competition to take pictures with each other and to exchange congratulations.

Italy: 1st Interregional competition

Last Sunday, the first interregional synchronized skating competition took place in Chiavenna (SO), Italy. 22 teams from all over the country participated in this event. 

A weekend full of competitions in Japan

Fifteen teams from Japan and South Korea took part in Japan National and Open Competitions this weekend in Hitachinaka (JPN). Read more to know who won the game!

Dream Edges is the winner of the Finnish junior qualifications

Representing the city of Kaarina, Dream Edges is the 2018 winner of junior qualifications and will be "Team Finland 1" this season. The results are historical as for the first time a non-Helsinki team will represent Finland at the World Junior Championships. Dream Edges earned a total of 108.63 points in free skating. Their total score (170.48) is the new season’s best. Team Fintastic is second.
